Which venues and geographical regions do you service?
Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), we regularly support productions across downtown convention centers, heritage theaters, hotel ballrooms, and outdoor festival grounds throughout Southern Ontario. Our touring packages and mobile location audio kits are fully road-cased and certified for regional and cross-Canada deployment.
Is it better to hire Resonate for crewing, equipment dry-hire, or full production?
While we supply vetted freelance technical leads and equipment dry-hire to production partners, our primary strength is full-service integrated production. The true "Resonate Advantage" is realized when our certified technical directors, A1 audio leads, and V1 switchers operate our own purpose-built, pre-configured, and redundant systems.
What is your emergency response and failover protocol?
Our "Zero Single Points of Failure" philosophy dictates that show-stopping emergencies are engineered out before doors open. We deploy mirrored primary and backup playout laptops, pure-sine-wave battery backup (UPS) isolation on all FOH and video switching consoles, and automatic analog/AES fallback lines. If unexpected hardware failure occurs, our senior leads execute instantaneous, seamless failover without audience disruption.
What are your typical booking lead times?
We recommend a lead time of 2 to 4 weeks for standard corporate summits and concert productions. This window enables comprehensive technical advance scouting, venue power distribution audits, and custom network/acoustic configuration. However, we maintain active reserve equipment and crew rosters to accommodate short-notice and rush requests whenever schedule permits.
What is the "AVIT Difference" in your production workflows?
Traditional AV companies focus only on the physical boxes you see in the room. Our AVIT approach engineers the high-speed data layer underneath. We run pre-configured, segregated subnets with strict Quality of Service (QoS) prioritization for Dante audio and NDI video over IP, combined with OS-level DPC latency tuning to eliminate media server frame drops and dropouts.
How does your production pricing and show scoping work?
We provide transparent, line-item pricing tailored to your exact venue, audience footprint, and production goals. Because every venue has specific acoustic, power, and rigging realities, our technical directors advance each show directly with you, conduct technical site surveys when needed, and deliver a comprehensive, guaranteed proposal with zero hidden surprises.
Do you provide dedicated on-set Sound Playback Operators for Film & Commercial shoots?
Yes. We supply experienced on-set Sound Playback Operators equipped with mobile timecode playout rigs, wireless inductive in-ear monitors (earwigs) for talent, and high-output battery PA wedges. We manage choreography thumper tracks, click tracks for live musical performers, and synchronized cue-to-cue playout for music videos, commercials, and scripted television.
Do you offer permanent commercial AV installation and architectural site surveys?
Yes. Beyond temporary live events, our integration division designs and installs permanent sound reinforcement for performance venues and houses of worship, Microsoft Teams / Zoom Rooms for corporate boardrooms, and structured low-voltage rack builds. We provide on-site architectural walkthroughs, EASE acoustic modeling, and complete end-to-end installation across the GTA.
